Description
February #007. There is a grammar in how things fall apart. This work arrived in my archive at a moment when I was beginning to understand that dissolution is not the opposite of composition, it is composition's most honest form.
What I made here is not about death, though death is present. It is about the negotiation between the cultivated and the untameable, the moment when a human gesture toward order, a wrought-iron chair, a ceramic vessel, an arranged bouquet, begins to be reclaimed by something older and less interested in staying put.
